Guanacaste Area Day Tours

Santa Rosa National Park $67.00
Considered the only Tropical Dry Forest left in Central America.  Abundant wildlife including howler monkeys, coatis, white tale deer, scarlet macaws and blue jays to name a few.  Museum and National Monument to decisive battle where Costa Rica defeated American “filibuster” William Walker and his army of mercenaries.  Includes transfers and a typical Guanacaste style lunch.

Palo Verde National Park  $90.00
Unique wetland wildlife sanctuary.  Scientists from throughout the world come to study the different species of resident and migrant water fowl and land birds attracted here.  As you cruise the Tempesque River on the “jungle” boat, you will likely see crocodiles basking in the sun and monkeys swinging through the trees overhead.  Transfers and lunch included.

Rincon de Vieja Volcano $65.00
Impressive volcano with 2 craters, 1 active, fumaroles, large variety of vegetation and wildlife including monkeys, sloths and maybe a cougar.  Transfers and lunch included.

Canopy Tour  $93.00
Climb a giant tree to a platform 110 feet above the ground and swing from tree to tree on steel cables enjoying the different levels of the canopy.  Expert guides and strict safety measures.  Transfers included.

  Guatil Ceramics  $40.00
The last descendants of the Mayans in Costa Rica preserve much of their culture, especially their ceramic art.  Great place to obtain souvenirs.  Includes a visit to the city of Santa Cruz.
